John Marshall High School

Northside ISD

R-S-C-R provided the structural design and detailed structural drawings for this new construction project located on the campus of Northside ISD’s oldest high school, Marshall High School. The 80,000-SF building houses a mock courtroom, physical therapy laboratories, a hospital-like triage area and flexible classroom space that can be converted to suit each day’s lessons.

The structural system consists of a reinforced concrete pan-joist system supported on drilled piers. The roof framing consists of a metal deck, bar joists and wide flange beams.
