Designed and built to LEED® Silver standards, and using BIM (REVIT) technology, R-S-C-R provided the structural design and detailed structural drawings for this project. This new 90,300-SF facility is a three-story structure featuring multiple floors of administrative and faculty offices, 20 classrooms for teaching up to 720 students at a time, multipurpose science laboratory with stations supporting 24 students, the 5,750-SF university library with group study rooms and computer stations, 1,200-SF university bookstore, 2,500-SF dining facility with indoor and outdoor dining spaces, a security command center, mechanical yards, and 800 faculty, staff and student parking spaces.
This multipurpose building received a National TEAM Award from the Mason Contractors Association of America.
