Description: Structural Design. This is an office building for the mortgage lending arm of IBC Bank in Austin. This building consists of three floors and a roof, and a total of 35,000 s.f. of office space. First floor is soil supported with drilled piers supporting column loads. The framing for the second and third floors are framed from a composite steel and concrete floor system. The roof framing consists of steel joists and wide flange beams and metal deck acting as a roof diaphragm. Insulating concrete walls were used as the exterior wall system.
